Cognitive Hypnotherapy has a very different approach to other hypnotherapy models; we recognise that not everyone sees the world in the same way, people are individuals and not everyone reacts to a situation in the same way. The Cognitive Hypnotherapist’s ‘script’ will be as individual as the client, based on the client’s model of the world and using the client’s own solution state; these ‘scripts’ are known as Wordweaving, a unique approach to hypnotic language which utilises the client’s own words and ideas and forms them into a pattern of suggestion.
The Cognitive Hypnotherapy approach of using the client’s own model of the world and effecting change using a variety of powerful techniques is a modern scientific approach which takes out the guess work of the treatment plan and replaces it with purposeful directional therapy.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy works on an active relationship between the therapist and the client.
Another significant difference from other therapy models is that Cognitive Hypnotherapy does not advocate a single ‘one size fits all approach’ but resourcefully draws on a combination of various ideas and discoveries from different therapy models such as Evolutionary Psychology,Psychology, Positive Cognitive theory, Mind Body Connection/Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming).

Cognitive Hypnotherapy has some distinct advantages over other therapy models; in the instance of psychoanalysis for example time would be a major factor; treatment can take several years and commonly CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Tharapy) usually lasts over 10 – 15 1 hours sessions, by contrast Cognitive Hypnotherapy can produce results in as little as 4 to 6 sessions.
These changes are made at the best possible speed for you to experience lasting transformation.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy can be really effective for many issues such as low self confidence, job interview nerves, low self esteem issues, fears and phobias, being stuck, stress, emotional well being, weight loss and STOP smoking and much more.
